My reviews for IF Comp 2013...
It's that time of the year again when the international IF community holds its largest competition. This year there are 35 entries that encompass both parser-based and choice-based works. Many of these works have been authored with the older Inform 6, Inform 7, and TADS authoring systems. However, newer platforms such as Twine, Quest, Undum, StoryNexus are well represented.
I'm going to review as many of the works as I can in random order. As soon as I play a game, I'll write a review. However, I'll wait until I've played enough games to give me a good perspective before I go to the voting page and give them a score. I am going to play at least five of the entries so that I can quailigy as a judge for the contest and get my votes to count towards determining the ranking of the games. Hopefully, I can play all the games.
